Cookies and localStorage are different
A cookie can be included in requests to a server. localStorage is a browser storage mechanism that this site’s JavaScript can read on the same origin. The supplied website code does not set cookies and does not install analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
The only persistent browser value written by the supplied JavaScript is a storage preference, and it is written only when you choose one of the controls below. The mobile menu, scroll animations and contact drafts do not need persistent storage.
Your storage preference
Accept records an affirmative preference. Essential only records a restrictive preference. Neither option enables analytics or advertising because no such functionality is present.
No optional tracking is enabled. JavaScript is required to inspect or change the saved preference here.
Storage inventory
| Key | Purpose and contents | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| rankroverradarp-storage-choice | A preference value: “accepted” or “essential.” No personal identifier or message content. | Until you reset the choice, clear site data or your browser removes it. |
Changing your choice
Use Reset choice to remove the preference written by this site. You can also clear site data through your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking localStorage does not prevent reading the pages or using the local draft tool. If storage is unavailable, the preference controls report that the choice could not be saved.
A saved preference applies to this browser and origin, not every device you use. Private browsing modes and browser cleanup settings may remove it. Resetting the choice does not delete files you downloaded, clipboard history or correspondence sent through an email service.
Other infrastructure and external sites
This inventory describes the supplied page code. Hosting, delivery or security infrastructure can have separate operational behavior that cannot be established by inspecting these files alone. Following an external product link takes you to an independent site whose cookies and storage practices are governed by its own notices.
If optional functionality is introduced later, its purpose and controls should be explained before it runs where consent is required. A recorded acceptance here is not blanket permission for unspecified future processing. See Information in our care for the broader privacy explanation or prepare a question about these controls.
